We reached 3 million trees!
We reached 3 million trees!
My Forest Armenia has reached a historic milestone: more than 3,000,000 trees planted since its foundation.
This achievement represents six years of continuous reforestation work across Armenia, restoring degraded landscapes, strengthening biodiversity, and creating sustainable employment in rural communities.

What began in 2020 as a single planting site has grown into a nationwide effort spanning multiple provinces and 900 hectares of new forest. Each tree planted is part of a long-term vision to rebuild Armenia’s forest cover using science-based methods, native species, and careful post-planting care to ensure survival and resilience.
Reaching the 3-million-tree mark is not the result of one season or one project. It reflects the collective commitment of thousands of donors, partners, volunteers, and local workers who believe in long-term impact over short-term results. From memorial forests and named forests to large-scale institutional partnerships, every contribution has helped cover bare land with a variety of local trees.

Beyond environmental impact, these forests support rural livelihoods by providing stable, dignified work and by improving soil health, water retention, and local microclimates. Over time, they will help mitigate climate change, reduce erosion, and create healthier environments for nearby communities.
This milestone is both a celebration and a responsibility. Forest restoration is a long journey, and planting is only the first step. As these 3 million trees grow, they will require continued care, monitoring, and protection to thrive for generations to come.
We thank everyone who has made this possible and invite you to continue this journey with us so that together, we can grow the next million trees and beyond.
