Situated 10 km from Vanadzor, there are different activities for volunteers at different times of the year. In April and November: sowing seeds, preparing cuttings, digging out, and preparing the seedlings in bundles for transport to the reforestation sites. In October: collecting and cleaning tree seeds, in May and June, weeding, in July and August, weeding and watering. You can put your hands in the dirt for real help anytime from the end of March to the end of November.

We are planting in sites situated in mountainous areas usually with spectacular views. The work mainly involves removing grass by hand or with a small sickle around the young plants. Care must be exercised not to damage the plant and in general, be aware of the plant’s growth and situation in its environment. The landscapes are beautiful, why not do some hiking nearby?

You can join our tree planting or seed collection events and/or help us coordinate groups. Join our “Forest Angels Volunteer Group”. Outside Yerevan, it is generally a whole day full of emotions and physical activity. The groups depart from Yerevan by bus, early in the morning, involve a hefty hike to the mountain to plant on the slopes, or collect the seeds from natural forests and come back in the evening. You can have a double role: support our coordination team to have a smooth day and of course, plant trees yourself!  In Yerevan, you can help us during our public events: conferences, exhibitions, concerts etc
