From 19 to 30 October 2026, Yerevan will host the 17th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on preserving biodiversity (COP17), bringing together governments, experts, organizations, civil society and other stakeholders from around the world to address one of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time: preserving biodiversity.
As the global community comes together in Armenia to discuss how we can restore degraded land, strengthen resilience and protect ecosystems, My Forest Armenia will be present throughout COP17, sharing our experience of large-scale reforestation and the role that forest landscape restoration can play in supporting biodiversity.
You can find us in the Green Zone, where we will be taking part in the programme through exhibitions, installations, conferences and field visits.
Visit us at our booth
Come meet the My Forest Armenia team on the 3rd Floor of the Green Zone.

Visit our astounding immersive installation
On the 2nd Floor, visit our special installation, Forest Biodiversity: An Immersive Experience.
Forests are more than collections of trees. They provide habitat for countless species, protect soils, regulate water, store carbon and support resilient landscapes.
This immersive installation invites visitors to discover the rich biodiversity that forests support and to experience the connections between forests, ecosystems and the wider landscape.

Just a 5-minute walk from the Green Zone, the installation offers a closer look at what reforestation looks like on the ground—from planting trees to establishing and maintaining young forests.
Visit a reforestation site and nursery
Want to see the work for yourself?
Visitors will have the opportunity to join a 7-hour visit to one of our reforestation sites and our tree nursery near Vanadzor. The bus ride is free and lasts 2 hours in each direction.
Tours will take place on:
- 22 October (for press only)
- 23 October
- 24 October
The visits will provide an opportunity to see how trees are grown in our nurseries and how reforestation projects are developed and maintained in the field. Refreshments will be served at the nursery.
Registration is required before October 21, 2026. See link for registration.
