COP-17 World Conference on Biodiversity Side Events in Yerevan
Call for volunteers
We are preparing to organize side events at the most significant international event ever hosted in Armenia, the COP-17 World Conference on Biodiversity, taking place in Yerevan from October 18–30, 2026.

This major global gathering is expected to welcome around 30,000 participants, bringing together governments, scientists, and environmental organizations to address urgent challenges related to biodiversity and nature conservation.

My Forest Armenia will organize several side events - exhibitions and related activities, helping showcase ongoing environmental efforts and Armenia’s role in forest restoration and climate action.
To support these activities, we are looking for approximately 40 volunteers, preferably with foreign language skills.

Who we are looking for

This opportunity is particularly relevant for individuals interested in:
International relations
Biology and environmental protection
Foreign languages
Communication and public engagement

Volunteer involvement

Volunteers will assist with the organization and operation of exhibitions throughout the conference period. Activities will be scheduled flexibly, based on individual availability and preferred days and times.
What volunteers will receive

Participants will receive:

A certificate confirming hours of public activity
Practical experience in a large-scale international environmental event
Direct exposure to international organizations and professionals working in biodiversity and climate fields
