In today’s world, environmental challenges such as climate change, water scarcity, and pollution are becoming increasingly urgent. Addressing these challenges requires responsible action from governments, communities, and businesses alike. Veolia, as a global leader in environmental services, has placed ecological transformation at the center of its mission. In Armenia, Veolia plays a vital role in providing one of the most essential public services: reliable and safe drinking water and wastewater management. Social responsibility is deeply embedded in Veolia’s activities in Armenia. The company works not only to maintain and modernize water infrastructure but also to ensure that water resources are managed responsibly and sustainably. Another key element of Veolia’s global sustainability vision is the GreenUp Program. This strategic program aims to accelerate ecological transformation by focusing on three major priorities: decarbonization, depollution, and the regeneration of natural resources. Ultimately, Veolia’s social responsibility initiatives and the GreenUp strategy demonstrate that environmental services are not only about infrastructure—they are about protecting natural resources, supporting communities, and contributing to sustainable economic development.By combining global expertise with local commitment, Veolia in Armenia continues to work toward a future where water resources are preserved, environmental impact is minimized, and communities can thrive in a healthier and more sustainable environment.
